I’ve tried a bunch of focus tools, but Anti Brainrot is the first one that actually handles my YouTube ADHD-scrolling. It completely hides the home feed and those annoying sidebar 'rabbit holes.' I love that I can toggle off the Shorts too, which was my biggest time-waster. It's super lightweight and didn't need any complex setup. Only downside is it doesn't have a timer yet, but it's been a lifesaver for staying intentional while I'm researching for work. Best YouTube distraction blocker I've found so far.

Simple, beautiful & effective! I did not realize how much brainrot scrolling was draining my time until I started using this YouTube distraction blocker. It is honestly a game changer. What I love most is how simple and intentional it feels. It removes the addictive clutter. No endless recommendations. No distracting thumbnails pulling you into a two hour spiral. No algorithm rabbit holes. Just the content you actually intend to watch. It turns YouTube back into a tool instead of a trap. The anti brainrot approach is exactly what we need right now. Instead of fighting your willpower, it changes the environment. That small shift makes it so much easier to stay focused, study, work, or just watch one video and move on. It is lightweight, clean, and does not overcomplicate things with unnecessary features. Install it, set your boundaries, and your productivity improves immediately. If you value your time and mental clarity, this is a must have. Highly recommend for students, professionals, creators, and anyone tired of losing hours to mindless scrolling. Absolute 5 out of 5! Thank you!

This is an outstanding job developing Anti-Brainrot. This extension is thoughtful, purposeful, and genuinely impactful — especially for neurodivergent users and anyone who struggles with YouTube’s endless algorithmic distractions. The concept is simple but incredibly powerful: remove what pulls your attention away and keep only what you intentionally came to watch. Features like hiding the homepage feed, sidebar recommendations, comments, end screens, and Shorts make a huge difference in maintaining focus. The master toggle and clean pop-up interface show real attention to user experience, and the fact that everything is customizable is a major plus. What impressed me most was how intentionally this was designed for ADHD and neurodivergent minds. It doesn’t just block content — it restores control. The privacy-first approach (zero data collection, local storage, open source) adds another layer of trust and professionalism. The development quality is excellent, the execution is clean, and the purpose behind the project truly shines through. I couldn’t be prouder of the work done here. Highly recommended for students, professionals, and anyone who wants intentional YouTube use instead of falling into the algorithm’s rabbit hole.
