Needed short cites and Id formats without retyping from CourtListener all night. Two other generators mangled pincites or froze on Findlaw pages. This one reads where you are in the opinion and drops the right reporter cite straight into the clipboard. The Id handling finally matches how I actually draft. Pasted twenty into a motion at 2am without fixing a single one.

This tool has helped me streamline my bluebook layouts where it works inside my browser to automate drafting .It instantly transforms text interactions into valid legal definitions without wasting time . I as a lawyer i use this tool because it has live clipboard modification during standard copying and it has seamless formatting adjustments , it also can handle structures natively in findlaw which reads annotations , notes from legal portals

I tested this extension extensively across multiple legal research platforms as part of a professional testing project. On CourtListener and FindLaw, it works very well — auto-detection of citation format is accurate, and the manual pincite field is a nice touch for databases where page markers aren't published (like some CourtListener decisions). A few areas for improvement: the extension currently doesn't support Indian Kanoon or CaseMine, which are widely used by legal practitioners in India — adding these would make it much more useful for a broader audience. I also noticed some inconsistencies with recent case citations, such as the court abbreviation occasionally dropping the state identifier (e.g., showing "Ct. App." instead of "Ky. Ct. App."). Overall, a genuinely useful tool for legal research on its supported databases, with room to grow in coverage and citation accuracy. Recommended for anyone working primarily with CourtListener or FindLaw.

Finally a citation tool that actually saved my time. Highlight the text, copy it and the citation is ready to go!

This looks like a handy tool for anyone who spends a lot of time working with case citations. I like that it supports things like full citations, short cites, Id., and pincites without having to format everything manually. Being able to use it across sites like Google Scholar and CourtListener could also save some time when researching cases.

Great. I can finally stop wrestling with the freaking bluebook and just copy the citation
