Does not work with ChromeOS Version 79.0.3945.123 (Official Build) (64-bit). There is no connect/disconnect button.

I haven't been able to get this to work. I used to have the standalone app (not extension) version and that would work, but this extension only tells me online/offline. It doesn't help me connect to the internet.

The app doesn't launch in Google Chrome browser on Macbook.

Clicking "Launch App" does not do anything. If I try to access it through chrome://apps, it immediately closes the tab.

Most useful chrome app for internet based device like ChromeBook. It will serve the purpose of always connected and it will add value to this thin OS.
