I appreciate the transparency of this extension. It clearly explains what information is sent when checking a listing, and I like that it doesn't modify checkout or add coupons. The focus on actual recorded prices rather than just the seller's discount claim is a great idea.

I built a free Chrome extension to make AliExpress prices a little more transparent. It’s called PriceProven. I started building it because I kept seeing products marked “50% OFF” or “70% OFF”, but there was no easy way to know what the product had actually been selling for before. PriceProven shows the price history we’ve recorded directly while you browse AliExpress, including: • Recorded price history • Lowest and typical recorded prices • Context around seller discount claims • Clear “not enough data” messages when we don’t have enough evidence yet The extension is completely new — it only launched a few days ago — so right now I’m looking for the first users who are willing to try it and tell me what works, what’s confusing, and what needs fixing. I’m not looking for fake reviews or 5-star ratings. I’d genuinely rather hear what’s wrong so I can make it better. I’ve been testing PriceProven on AliExpress and the extension is simple to use. It shows recorded price history directly on product pages, which makes it easier to understand whether the current price is actually low compared with previous readings. The project is still new, but the idea is useful and the interface is clear. I’m looking forward to seeing more price history and improvements as the database grows.
