Recurring Charge Guard Pro does exactly what it promises: it warns you at checkout before you accidentally sign up for a recurring charge. I’ve already caught a couple of “free trial” offers that would have auto-renewed, and the extension clearly shows the real monthly cost and key terms before I pay. The subscription dashboard is handy for seeing everything I’m signed up for in one place, and the cancel reminders mean I’m no longer forgetting about renewals. It doesn’t need access to my bank account, which I appreciate, and it’s lightweight and unobtrusive until it’s actually needed at checkout. If you shop online at all, this is a small install that can save you real money and stress. Highly recommended.

I installed this expecting a glorified spreadsheet and instead got a wake-up call. It immediately surfaced a handful of subscriptions I'd completely forgotten I was still paying for - the kind that quietly renew forever because you never think to look. Seeing them all in one place made cancelling the dead weight take about five minutes. If you've ever had that "wait, I'm still paying for that?" moment, this is the extension that finds them before your statement does. Highly recommend.
