I'm "torrocus" and I've been using the Silencio SoundCheck extension since the day I discovered it. 🚀 This little tool is surprisingly powerful: - When I look up a specific place (like an apartment on Airbnb or a hotel on Booking.com), I can see a snapshot of the venue noise level. 🏠🏨🔊 - And when I explore Google Maps, I can check the street or area noise level around the location. 🌆🌍 No more guessing if that "quiet apartment" really means quiet! 👉 Try it yourself — it's eye-opening! Once you install the extension, you can also add me as your referrer: Click on the Silencio logo → About Silencio → Sync Account → type "torrocus" → hit Sync. Yes, it's that easy. 😉 But you may wonder: Where does Silencio get this data? 🤔 That's the beauty of it. The noise information comes from a global community of contributors. I'm proudly part of it too. All you need is the Silencio mobile app. 📱 It doesn't record conversations — it only measures decibels, nothing more. Every time I step outside, I run Silencio in the background and help build the map. Silencio's soundcheck extension provides a way to know the noise level of locations, this is perfect especially when considering accomodations or choosing a restaurant. There's no serenity without silence, and with silencio we know. The first ever database for noise data.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 Sterne Ich habe die Erweiterung von Silencio ausprobiert, um eine schöne und ruhige Unterkunft in Prag zu suchen, und finde sie extrem nützlich. Hätte ich diese Möglichkeit letztes Jahr schon gehabt, als ich Mallorca gebucht habe, hätte ich mir wohl viele schlaflose Nächte in der Nähe einer extrem beliebten Bar erspart. 😅 Super Idee – eine smarte Lösung gegen (unsichtbare) Lärmfallen beim Reisen! Ich buche nie wieder ohne.
