Does something simple and essential that almost every other web blockers fail to do for some reason: Close tabs not just by URL text, but also by page title text, and even either or. It also has regex if you're a more advanced user. Those other web blockers will fail on sites whose URLs are just random text, like YouTube. If you're dealing with such sites, this extension has you covered. For the particular keyword you want to block, you could select the "match by URL or page title" option so that if either of them contains the keyword, the site will close automatically. It works well on YouTube because the page title happens to include the title (of the video) which may contain the keyword. Before you judge this extension for having very few reviews, I want to confirm that it is the real deal and the one you've probably been looking for. Its very great if you like a minimal and simple app. But I would have given this extension full 5/5 if it have certain features that I think are essential to a web blocker: 1. the ability to switch the extension on and off. 2. the ability to group keywords/search patterns and switch these groups on and off (like for work sessions. And yes, I want a switch for every group created). This would be much faster than turning individual search patterns on and off, one by one. 3. the ability the schedule search patterns or groups of them to turn on and off at certain times. 4. the ability to turn on and off dark mode for the extension page, using a switch or system settings. (This was written on 2025-10-13)
