While supposed to be a promising extension, this addon has serious issues of delivering what's advertised. I was seeking a sharpness extension other than Video Image Control and AI suggested this but this extension is worse than the other extension ever was. Why? The moment you enable "Sharpness" from Experimental Shaders, it auto sets Opacity to 0% = makes video completely Black so that whatever you do afterwards becomes meaningless, except for refreshing the page which normally retains settings in other extensions but for this weird extension, it wipes all settings so you go back to square one. And no this has nothing to with DRM as extension's warning because it was tested on several Free YouTube videos. I don't know how this extension got high rating but logic says other users were merely using Brightness, Contrast, Color (basic controls) but none of them were actually using Sharpness to see the big flaw in this extension to give that non-true rating.

One of the best video filter extensions I’ve used. Brightness and invert controls are extremely helpful, especially for eye comfort. Clean, intuitive UI and everything works exactly as expected. Very impressed.

What a wonderful extension! It works really well and makes it easy to change characteristics of a video on platforms like Netflix, Prime, Max, etc.

It works. Profile save works. I suggest to add light icon also. I use dark skin, so I do not see this dark icon :)

Great!

hi, would love to see a sharpness control. video sharpness extension has it but from what I understand it is paid and also causes video to stutter. I use video styler extension which has a function to sharpen and can work great but difficult to setup and adjust because it uses ConvolveMatrix. I had the idea to adapt sliders to adjust the matrix in intelligent ways. what do you think? I also see sharpness control extension uses radius and such but again, this apparently causes video stutter according to one review.

Really easy to use and simple plugin for adding filters to video files. I've been using it on Twich to improve the brightness on a few streamers. I like the popout option, better than Twitch's own popout player. Only thing is the changed filters don't translate to the popout.

Update: Video Filters does not remember its own settings. Update: No Sharpness setting

Easy to use with the sliders and responsive. Very nice also the one-click reset function for each value individually.

I can't tolerate dark mode and am currently using a training website, PluralSight, that has that theme. The Inverted Color option in the High Contrast extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/high-contrast/djcfdncoelnlbldjfhinnjlhdjlikmph) gets me to the dark-text-on-white-background look, although it messes with the images as well. That's not really a big deal, but the videos being inverted was a problem when I could not view the videos full-screen. Using this extension helped me to adjust the coloring on the videos, mainly by using the Invert and Brightness sliders, so that they were more viewable when I could not view them full screen, when I would just disable the High Contrast setting. Both of these extensions together make viewing the PluralSight website much more comfortable for me.
