Check an idea before you build.
“Are there popular writing tools that haven’t been updated in a year?”

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Ext Watch. Your AI looks up real Chrome Web Store numbers for you, and tells you the date we checked each one.
Included with Pro ($49/mo) and Max. Looks things up, never changes anything.
Which password managers have the most users right now?
Checking Ext Watch…

No more pasting store pages into chat. Just ask, and your AI checks Ext Watch for you.
“Are there popular writing tools that haven’t been updated in a year?”

“Show the top 20 tab managers by users, and when you checked.”

Every number comes with its date. If we don’t know something, your AI hears “unknown”, not a guess.

Pick your AI app and follow three short steps. You’ll sign in to Ext Watch once, and that’s it.
In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, and click Add custom connector.
Name it Ext Watch and paste the server address below.

search_extensionsUsers, rating, what it can access, its versions and the numbers we’ve saved over time.
get_extensionMost users, most ratings, fast starters, or not updated in a while. It always says how the list was made.
get_rankingsBrand-new extensions, and a heads-up when there are only a few ratings so far.
get_new_launchesIdeas that pass our checks, how the score adds up, and whether a person has looked at it.
get_opportunitiesOur hand-picked lists, and why each extension is on them.
get_collectionWhether an extension asks for money, and where we saw it. If we can’t tell, it says so.
get_monetizationWritten reviews, once we have a source we’re allowed to use. Until then it tells you.
list_reviewsEach time your AI looks something up, it uses a few credits. Your plan gives you a fresh batch every month.

Up to 400 a day. That’s about 1,500 full extension lookups a month.
Up to 2,000 a day. Room for a team or an AI helper that runs all day.
Free and Plus are great for browsing. Pick Pro or Max when you want your AI to do the looking.

Free and Plus don’t include AI connections, but you can explore every page of the radar.

MCP is a standard way to plug extra tools into AI apps. Once you add Ext Watch, your AI can look up Chrome Web Store facts by itself instead of guessing.
Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor, and most other apps that let you add an MCP server. If your app asks for a server address, paste https://app.extwatch.com/api/mcp.
No. In Claude and ChatGPT you paste one address, sign in to Ext Watch and click Allow. That’s it.
No. It can only look things up. It can’t edit, delete or buy anything, and you can disconnect it any time in Settings.
Your AI gets a friendly “out of credits” message instead of an answer. Credits refill each month, and nothing is charged on top.
Every answer shows the date we last checked the store and the date of each number. We started recently, so we don’t talk about trends until we have enough history.
Your connections stay saved, but lookups pause until you’re back on Pro or Max. Nothing is deleted.
