It's like a pretty girl that is super annoying 🙄😒
First, I have to say LinkMate has an incredibly user-friendly UI. It's one of the most user-friendly interfaces I've seen so far. Very simple and unambiguous — at least when it comes to navigating the app.
That being said, one of the main reasons I got this app is because of their Keyword-Driven Engagement feature. This is a great way to supplement your engagement activities on LinkedIn. The Engage on Keywords feature was working great for the most part, for a few days, but every once in a while it will get stuck on "Hang on, we're getting your fresh posts to start the automatic keyword engagement". No other error messages whatsoever. This would go on for days at a time, regardless of the keywords you added. I could add keywords as simple as "linkedin", "manager" or "website" and it still would not be able to retrieve any any fresh posts.
What prompted me to write this review is the garbage customer service response (or lack thereof) that I keep getting from LinkMate support every time I report this issue. I've brought this issue up several times and each time they will tell me to keep the app open, update the extension, some other lame response — all of which I already do. Keep in mind, the LinkMate app is still able to leave Automatic profile engagements, and other types of comments on LinkedIn, but for some reason LinkMate can't retrieve posts with keywords. My Li account isn't blocked or limited in any way, this is simply on LinkMate. They either don't want to admit it, or don't know their way around their own app.
There's no point of paying for this unless you only want to use the feature that integrates with your LinkedIn feed and allows you to leave comments on LinkedIn itself. That's the only feature that works consistently, but that alone is certainly not worth getting a Plus plan in my opinion.
