Thoughtful, Helpful, and Surprisingly Empowering Trigger Warning Highlighter is one of those Chrome extensions you don’t realize you need until you use it—and then it’s hard to browse without it. The extension automatically highlights emotionally charged or potentially triggering words directly on a webpage, giving you a gentle heads-up before you dive into sensitive content. It doesn’t block pages or censor information; instead, it puts control back in your hands, allowing you to mentally prepare, slow down, or skip sections if needed. What stands out: Subtle but effective highlighting that doesn’t disrupt reading Works seamlessly across websites Lightweight and easy to use — install and forget Empathetic design that respects user autonomy This tool is especially valuable for people managing anxiety, trauma, or emotional fatigue, but it’s just as useful for anyone who wants to be more intentional about what they consume online. In a web that can often feel overwhelming, Trigger Warning Highlighter adds a layer of awareness and care. Simple idea, meaningful impact. Highly recommended
