I’ve tried a few YouTube AI tools, and this one feels more interactive than most. Being able to chat with the video and get instant explanations is a big plus, especially for complex topics.

Contextly has become my go-to extension for YouTube. As someone who watches a lot of tutorials and lectures, the AI summaries save me so much time. I especially appreciate the Bring Your Own Key option because it lets me use my own OpenAI API while keeping my data private. The chat feature works smoothly right inside the player, and asking questions about long videos feels like having a study buddy on demand. It is not perfect, the interface can feel a bit cluttered at first, but the time it saves makes it totally worth it. Highly recommend for students or anyone who learns from YouTube.

Contextly is a top-tier tool for researchers and students looking to streamline their learning, especially with the "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) feature. I love that I can plug in my own OpenAI or Gemini API key because it gives me total ownership and privacy over my data, and it’s way more transparent than other tools. The ability to navigate YouTube content with real-time AI chat and support for over 120 languages makes it an incredibly useful extension for a global audience.

Contextly YouTube AI Assistant is a top tier tool for researchers and students looking to streamline their learning by allowing you to bring your own OpenAI API key which grants complete ownership and privacy over your data and AI interactions. The ability to navigate YouTube content easily combined with support for over 115 languages makes it a transparent and incredibly useful extension for a global audience but users should be aware of high subscription costs and reports regarding suspicious review practices.

This helps me bring my own key, enhancing privacy and control for my context. This gives me complete control over how my data and AI interactions are managed. I can also connect to my OpenAI API key directly to continue, allowing me to take full advantage of the tool's intelligent capabilities while maintaining full ownership and transparency over my data usage

Very convenient, especially when we're tasked to watch videos for school. Although the design of the extension needs some changes since it's a bit messy, especially for a new user.
